This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Security Consultant Assessment Study, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

The City is seeking proposals from multi-disciplinary physical and personnel security consulting firms with expertise in the development of physical security programs covering strategic management, staffing, policy development, threat/risk assessments, and physical security technology system deployment, management and integration. 

The Consultant shall complete a current state analysis, GAP analysis and assist in the development of a comprehensive long-term security strategy outlining how the City will protect its people (staff, contractors, visitors, and members of the public) and assets (infrastructure, property, and from physical threats and vulnerabilities. This project will identify efficiencies across multi-departmental practices, and, where appropriate, standardize security services for City assets/infrastructure, City owned/leased property, and the people/equipment who occupy these spaces.
