This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Ray Gibbon Drive Improvement Phase 2B, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • to the supply and installation of the twinned Sturgeon River bridge to accommodate the ultimate two lanes southbound along Ray Gibbon Drive.
  • all work associated to the roadway tie-in work between the Ray Gibbon Drive, Phase 2A contract limits (currently under construction) and the twinned Sturgeon River bridge
  • (CONDITIONAL), work associated to the trail upgrades at both the north and south underpass of the Sturgeon River bridges.  It should be noted that the trail upgrade work is considered conditional in nature and directly dependent on Water Act Approval from Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP), currently under application (as of May 2021).
