This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Insurance Broker Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City is looking for a qualified insurance broker with public entity experience, to provide the Insurance Program related services (exclusive of the Employee Benefit Program). The objective is for the City to obtain the optimum range of coverage and services in the most cost-effective manner possible.

Coverage requirements include:

4. Machinery Breakdown
5. Crime
6. Cyber & Data Breach
7. Automobile Fleet
8. Garage
9. Environmental Impairment Liability
10. Transit Fleet
11. E&O/Professional Liability/Medical Malpractice for City Paramedics
12. Terrorism
13. Facility user group & special event self-insurance access (e.g. Instant Risk Coverage)
