This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) Strategy Development, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).  

The City of St. Albert has identified as a part of its Corporate Business Plan a goal to “enable and support healthy and resilient employees at all levels of the organization”.  One initiative that is supported by Administration and Council to support this goal is to assess and develop the City's overall strategy, policy(ies), and a tactical implementation plan for inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility.  

As such, the City is seeking to secure a forward-thinking, solutions-driven consultant or firm with extensive experience in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) field to develop an IDEA strategy reflective of the City's organizational values and IDEA ambitions. We aim to create a culture of IDEA that is accountable, measurable, sustainable and scalable.
