This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Range Road (Rge Rd) 260 Preliminary Engineering Design Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City of St. Albert is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed and professional consulting firms for the purpose of providing transportation engineering design services required for the urbanization (following the principles of the City of St. Albert’s Complete Streets) of Range Road 260, between Villeneuve Road and approximately 150 m north of Township Road 540A, located in the Northwest portion of the City. The approximate distance of project area is 1.85 KM. 

In general, the work to successfully deliver the project to a 60% design stage only, shall include, but is not limited to the following:

• Environmental & Historical Resource Assessments (including permitting);
• Data Collection and Review;
• Utility Coordination, if required;
• Geotechnical Investigation;
• Design up to 60% only;
• Cost estimate for 60% design;
• Turnover of design files in electronic formats (.dwg and .pdf).

Please note that scope beyond 60% design (detailed design, tendering services and construction management) is not requested at this time.
