This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective prequalified bidders to submit bids for 2022 City of St. Albert Catch Basin Maintenance & Repairs Program, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Work, to successfully repair City owned catch basins (CB’s) and any additional components as highlighted in Appendix E throughout Sir Winston Churchill Ave, to be undertaken is generally described as:

• Remove and replace catch basin (CB) barrels, grade rings, and frame and covers as needed
• site restoration (asphalt, concrete medians, curb and gutter, and any landscaping disturbances)
• 2 months of landscape maintenance.

All Work is to be completed in accordance with the November 2021 edition of the City of St. Albert Municipal Engineering Standards and Appendix D. Removal and replacement of CB barrels, grade rings, and frame and covers is to include all labour, materials, trucks, travel time, fuel charges to remove and dispose of defected CB barrels and any other CB related components. All work shall be completed as detailed in ITT including all incidental work and items required to complete the work for which payment is not specified elsewhere.
