This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Oakmont Trail Bridge, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The work to be undertaken is generally described as: Oakmont Trail Pedestrian Bridge in the City of St. Albert and includes, but not limited to: 

  • Excavation – Structural
  • Plain Reinforcing Steel – Supply
  • Reinforcing Steel – Place
  • Pile Installation
  • Concrete - Class Pile
  • Concrete - Class C
  • Backfill - Des 2 Class 25
  • Bearings - Supply and Fabrication, Delivery and Installation
  • Prefabricated Pony Truss Pedestrian Bridge Superstructure – Supply and Fabrication, Delivery and Erection
  • Bridgerail - Supply and Fabrication, Delivery and Installation - Abutment Pedestrian Barrier
  • Heavy Rock Riprap - Class 1M
