This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for St Albert Trail Phase 4 Preliminary Design, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City of St. Albert is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed, and professional consulting firms to provide design engineering services required for preliminary engineering (to a 60% design level) for St Albert Trail, from the existing Neil Ross Road to approximately 150m north of Township Road 544.

This project targets the completion of necessary engineering and preliminary design to inform and protect these future upgrades including, but not limited to, geometric road design, intersection and access management, stormwater management and drainage, active transportation accommodation, streetlighting, and other utilities. Supplemental to the completed design will be a requirement to share construction cost estimates.

Consultant Scope beyond 60% design is not requested at this time.

As optional scope, preliminary design to a 60% design level of Hogan Road between Giroux Road to North Ridge Drive is of interest.
