Description: |
The City is an urban municipality of approximately 68,232 residents located immediately adjacent to the northwest border of the City of Edmonton. St. Albert is primarily a residential community with both old and newer residential areas and rural properties recently added through the Sturgeon County annexation agreement, two light industrial parks, commercial spaces, and numerous recreational parks. The St. Albert Fire Services (SAFS) has been serving the community since 1910, operating in three fire stations providing fire dispatch, fire prevention and suppression, rescue services, and emergency management for the municipality. SAFS maintains its Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS) at Fire Hall 3 providing critical structure to 9-1-1 call takers for call management, reporting, and analysis. Due to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC)’s mandate that all public safety answering points (PSAP) must transition to Next Generation NG9-1-1, the City's existing CAD and RMS software have reached end of life as the systems will not meet the required standard and needs to be replaced before the March 2025 deadline. The objective of this project is to acquire a fully integrated solution (CAD, RMS, Mobile CAD) that will meet business requirements and NG9-1-1 standards. The proposed solution must meet all current provincial and federal best practices and applicable NFPA, NENA and APCO standards. The solution scope will include, but not limited to:
The City is open for either on-premises or cloud-based solution. If The Proponent offers both options, submit a separate proposal for each. [MM1]These sentences are added. There was a noteon Pricing section that a separate pricing table should be submitted if the Proponent offers both. No, it will be two different submissions over all. Bids&tenders does not have the ability to let the vendor choose which path to go without being tagged as mandatory |
