This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Engineering Services - St. Anne Street Back Lane Improvements, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The Work, to successfully provide engineering services for the reconstruction of the back lane, Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining (CIPP) including sanitary sewers, storm sewers, manholes, catchbains, and storm leads; secondary power serving design and shall include, but not limited to, the following: 

• Coordinate re-location of shallow utilities within the staging limits of the project.
• Coordinate with utilities to select appropriate alignments and equipment locations for underground facilities within staging limits of the project.
• Engage and work with landowners impacted by the line power re-location project to negotiate locations of facilities on private property required for providing electrical services to business owners via new underground equipment.
• Engage and work with landowners within the staging limits of the project to obtain verbal consent for easements required by FortisAlberta for new underground facilities.
• Communicate with landowners and stakeholders throughout the process regarding FortisAlberta design and construction activities.
• Background document review
