Description: |
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for 2025 Transportation Preliminary Engineering: LeClair Way, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The City of St. Albert is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed, and professional consulting firms to provide design engineering services required for preliminary engineering (to a 60% design level) for LeClair Way, from the existing LeClair Way intersection at Ray Gibbon Drive and terminating at the City of St. Albert and City of Edmonton boundary existing on 137th Avenue. This roadway is planned for delivery in alignment with the St. Albert West Area Structure Plan and must be coordinated with design of the corridor between the City of St. Albert and City of Edmonton. This project targets the completion of necessary engineering and preliminary design to inform and protect these future upgrades including, but not limited to, geometric road design, intersection and access management, stormwater management and drainage, active transportation accommodation, streetlighting, and other utilities. As optional scope, preliminary design to a 60% design level between 137th Avenue and 199th Street is of interest, pending collaboration between external stakeholders such as City of Edmonton and/or the area developers (Rohit and Anthem). Please note that scope beyond 60% design (90% detailed design to Issued for Tender, tendering services and construction management) is not requested at this time. |
