This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Asset Retirement Obligations (ARO) – Facility Assessment and Review as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). 

The City is looking to engage with a service provider (consultant) to review and report on existing City owned facilities built prior to 1995.  The report required needs to indicate level of hazardous materials within the facility and costs for abatement.  These items will be used be to populate values related to the new requirement for Asset Retirement Obligations (ARO’s) as per PSAS (Public Sector Accounting Standards) 3280.
